Doreen provides school nursing services to children aged 5 – 18 years in primary, secondary and special schools with NHS Ayrshire and Arran. She works in partnership with schools, linking with multi-agency team members to promote healthy lifestyles and healthy schools. She also provides support and advice on health issues to children and young people, parents and families and education staff, carry out child health screening programme for schools and schools immunisation programme. Delivers a variety of health education programmes within schools, supports vulnerable children and participates in child protection issues.
