Health Visitors can provide health promotion and support and advice to all members of the community e.g. elderly, vulnerable families, new parents.

The referral system is open i.e. just phone us directly.

Health Visitors are registered Nurses with the additional specialist qualifications of BSc specialist public health nursing.

All families with children under 5 have a named health visitor.

Monday 10.30 – 12.00 DROP IN CLINIC
1st year support/breast feeding support group
Support, advice and a chance to meet other new mums.

Tues/Weds CHILDHOOD IMMUNISATIONS
Central recall system/Appointment sent automatically

Thurs 13.30 – 15.30 CHILD HEALTH CLINIC
With community paediatrician. Appointment sent via
Child Health Department of Health visitor.
